Who are we?
Land Search and Rescue Training Ltd is proud to hold NZQA’s highest level of
accreditation as a Category 1 Private Training Establishment (PTE). Operating under
the incorporated society of New Zealand Land Search and Rescue Inc, a registered
not-for-profit charity, we ensure that all proceeds from our training programmes go
directly to supporting our dedicated volunteers.

What we do
We are committed to enhancing community resilience by training thousands of
New Zealanders annually across Aotearoa. Our training programmes are
designed to ensure safety and preparedness in the great outdoors, and
to enable effective response to emergencies when they occur.

We specialise in comprehensive training in outdoor safety and skills, action-oriented leadership,
and the New Zealand Coordinated Incident Management System(CIMS).

Organisational Training
While our primary focus is on training Land Search and Rescue Volunteers, we also
offer training solutions for a wide range of organisations, from large government agencies
to small start-ups.

Coordinated Incident Management

Recommended for all personnel involved in incident management, the training provides the knowledge and skills to apply the principles of CIMS to a range of emergency response scenarios. Various training options available.
