CLARE TEAGUE, National Safer Walking Coordinator
Tasks: Responsible for provision of the leadership and coordination for the ongoing implementation of the Safer Walking Partnership Framework across all Stakeholder Reference Group entities. The role includes liaising and supporting LandSAR groups with the implementation of the Safer Walking Partnership Framework. The National Coordinator Safer Walking Program is responsible for the ongoing identification and assessment of new technologies, that might have application for reducing the search and rescue risk for vulnerable people.

Engage and inform others of LandSAR and our activities e.g. Land Search and Rescue (SAR) Operations (SAROPs) & SAR Exercises (SAREX), working in close alliance with our key stakeholders through social media, PR, publications, multi-media and online communications. Work with Local LandSAR groups on how to optimise social media, to help coach them on their use of digital platforms and coordinate the organisation’s digital and online needs.
